Throw It On God!

Read 1 Peter 5: 6, 7 Life gets tough sometimes. Especially during a Global Pandemic, Election Year, national protests and unrest, it can create anxieties that are hard to shake off. Today, I want to encourage you to place your worries, concerns, and anxieties in His hands. As a matter of fact, our passage says it like this. "Cast all your anxieties or cares' on Him.

The idea here could be understood as 'throw it on' God. In other words, get rid of it. Don't hold on to it. Don't try to work it out yourself. Don't think it through and try to figure it out.

Just throw it on God.

He isn't intimidated. He isn't overwhelmed. He isn't afraid. He is in control. He is the same today as He was yesterday. Hide your self in Him. He is an ever-present help in a time of trouble.

Start singing. Start praising. Start giving thanks. Turn your focus on what is forever and don't be alarmed by what is temporary.

Go ahead. Cast your anxieties on Him! Get it rid of that weight that has been weighing you down.
